Whitney provides practical and creative corporate law advice to clients that balances their business interests with their risk appetite, including advice regarding M&A transactions, business structuring, procurement processes, internal reorganisations, incorporation, franchising, and corporate governance.
She advises on a full range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating complex service and distribution agreements, service agreements, supply agreements, and operations and maintenance agreements.
Whitney joined Russell McVeagh in 2022 from Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Toronto, Canada, where she gained extensive experience advising domestic and international clients spanning multiple sectors, including private equity, healthcare, technology, and food and beverage.
During her time in Canada, she worked on major M&A transactions where she gained significant experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various transaction documents. She also worked on a number of pro bono files for charitable and not-for-profit organisations.
Whitney has her master's degree in the biochemistry field and uses this experience to advise clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health sciences industries.
