Lucy is part of the Technology, Digital and Strategic Sourcing team in Auckland. She has extensive experience advising on transactional Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) matters, specialising in complex, high value transactions having worked with many large multi-national corporations.

Lucy joined the firm in 2024 after working at London-based Pinsent Masons LLP for four years, as part of the firm's top-ranked TMT team. Prior to that, she was a Legal Risk Manager at WSH Group in London. She started her career at another New Zealand law firm before she moved overseas.

Some of Lucy's recent experience includes:

Advising a large infrastructure operator on splitting key customer and portfolio management agreements to allow the divestment of approximately 1,000 infrastructure sites to a third-party buyer.
Advising a global FMCG on a complex global business process outsourcing programme - a key strategic and digital transformation project and one of the largest of its kind globally.
Supporting a large UK retailer's in-house technology procurement legal team to map, manage, and reconcile its Oracle portfolio, negotiate various SaaS deals, and agree key consumer-facing and back-office deals.
Advising on technology elements of corporate transactions, including reviewing IT due diligence and drafting/negotiating related commercial documents, conditions, warranties and disclosures.
Advising a UK construction group on key considerations (including technology, IP, health and safety, and commercial) for new software to aggregate information from underground utility services and supporting the roll out and development of legal documentation for the new software.
