Anna advises on all aspects of property and construction law and is the head of the construction practice at Russell McVeagh. She is known for achieving exceptional commercial outcomes in client's most complex and important transactions and in the delivery of projects which are helping to reshape New Zealand.

Anna works with private sector and public sector clients, across a broad range of industries. She has particular expertise in large-scale development and infrastructure projects, acquisition and divestment transactions (including inbound overseas investment and compulsory acquisition), construction and consultancy contracts, and retail and commercial leasing.

Anna's recent experience includes:

• Working with KiwiRail in relation to various property matters including infrastructure development projects, leasing, public works acquisitions and disposals, and legislative reform.
• Advising Watercare on property rights and agreements for the construction and operation of Central Interceptor.
• Assisting Wellington Water Limited on the negotiation of construction contract terms (using 3910) for various major projects including reservoirs, waste water retention tanks, seismic resilience works and renewal programmes.
• Advising Infratec on the design and construction contracts for five large scale solar power stations in various locations across the upper North Island.
• Supporting Precinct in connection with the construction and development of Commercial Bay, a high-rise office and retail development integrated with the City Rail Link.
• Assisting SkyCity with its property portfolio throughout New Zealand and the property aspects of the New Zealand International Convention Centre development.
• Working with Auckland International Airport on its hotel portfolio under management by Accor, and specialty retail leasing.
