Russell McVeagh CEO Gary McDiarmid recently attended the Champions for Change Leaders’ Summit which brought together New Zealand’s leading CEOs and Chairs to set benchmarks and goals, and agree on measurement on diversity initiatives. The summit also established reporting standards to be used, key areas of focus and work streams to be undertaken by the Champions.

The Champions for Change, who span public and private sectors, are committed to raising the value of diversity and inclusion within their organisations and implementing strategies to actively promote the concept among their peers. Launched in November 2015, Champions for Change builds on the momentum of the two-year DiverseNZ Inc initiative convened through Global Women that has successfully built a platform of knowledge, insights and practical tools for businesses to leverage diversity.
