Russell McVeagh has been named a Top Tier firm by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2024 for a fourth consecutive year, with five leading litigation partners also recognised - the largest number for a New Zealand law firm.
Practice Group Chair Kirsten Massey and partners Matthew Kersey and Chris Curran were named 'Litigation Stars', with Marika Eastwick-Field named a 'Future Star' alongside Nathaniel Walker, who was recognised for the first time.
The firm is also shortlisted for two awards ahead of the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Awards 2024 on 21 May including:
- 'New Zealand Firm of the Year'
- 'New Zealand Lawyer of the Year' for Kirsten Massey
Benchmark Litigation rankings are determined by independent research conducted through extensive interviews with litigators, arbitrators, dispute resolution specialists and clients to identify the leading litigators and firms, as well as examining recent casework handled by law firms and lawyers.
