Russell McVeagh has been named a finalist in all three New Zealand categories for the upcoming ITR Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2021, including for New Zealand Tax Firm of the Year, New Zealand Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year, and New Zealand Tax Disputes Firm of the Year categories.
The awards recognise exceptional achievements and developments by international tax professionals over a 12-month period, judged on the complexity, innovation and impact of their work.
Russell McVeagh has previously won New Zealand Tax Firm of the Year, and four years in a row, was named New Zealand Tax Disputes and Litigation Firm of the Year.
Led by partner Fred Ward who is ranked a top tier lawyer by Chambers and Partners 2021 and named in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame, our Tax team recently welcomed new partner Greg Neill who returned to the Russell McVeagh earlier in the year after his experience as a partner of an Australasian financial advisory firm in its tax group and several years at Linklaters LLP in London. Greg has particular expertise in M&A, private equity, banking and corporate finance, real estate and forestry transactions.
