Five of Russell McVeagh's Litigation partners have been recognised in the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2022 rankings, with Litigation Practice Group Chair Kirsten Massey joining four other Russell McVeagh partners in the rankings this year.
Massey has been named alongside distinguished colleagues Chris Curran, Matthew Kersey, and Polly Pope, as a 'Litigation Star'.
Marika Eastwick-Field has been honoured with a 'Future Star' ranking in the guide for a second year, with one client commenting:
"Marika is an excellent technical lawyer, but for me, her communication skills and ability to calmly traverse any hiccup are the things that set her apart. Marika is also genuinely appreciative of us as a client and makes us feel important and valued."
Russell McVeagh's Litigation practice group received a top ranking in the guide for the second year in a row for Commercial and Transactions, which Massey says is a reflection of the extraordinary talent in the team and the calibre of work they are instructed on.
"I am thrilled to be recognised alongside my fantastic colleagues in the Benchmark Litigation rankings this year. A huge thank you to our talented and hardworking team and also to our clients, who have given us the opportunity to work alongside them on their most important matters," said Massey.
The latest rankings precede this year's Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Awards, in which Russell McVeagh has secured a finalist placing in the 'Firm of the Year' category and Kersey and Pope are finalists for New Zealand 'Lawyer of the Year'. The awards are due to be held on 26 May (online).
