Russell McVeagh, led by Coporate Advisory partner Ian Beaumont, senior associate Hannah Brown and solicitor Britney Clasper, is delighted to be supporting the team at Auckland Airport on its $1.4 billion equity raise to help fund its planned capital investment programme.
The equity raise comprises an underwritten placement of $1.2 billion and a non-underwritten retail offer to raise up to $200 million, and follows Auckland Airport signing a contract with Hawkins to manage the construction and delivery of a new domestic jet terminal to integrate domestic jet and international services under one roof.
Russell McVeagh is proud to be a long-time adviser of Auckland Airport, having worked alongside the team on its prior NZ$1.2 billion capital raise undertaken at pace during the early stages of New Zealand's first lockdown in 2020 among other significant projects.
