About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Manager based in our Wellington office. Reporting to the General Manager HR and working closely with the HR team based in Auckland, this role plays a vital part in developing an people experience that drives high levels of engagement and success.
As the HR Manager, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor to the Partners and staff in the Wellington office. You will work collaboratively with the HR team to develop and implement initiatives that will focus on talent, development, and building capability to support our greatest asset – our people.
You will also ensure the Firm has the right people, processes, systems and organisational structures in place to deliver the firm's objectives. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in a Firm that's committed to progression and transformation.
This is a permanent role, with some flexibility around hours for the right candidate.
We're looking for someone with exceptional relationship skills and business acumen who's able to connect with staff, influence stakeholders and establish a credible reputation for HR. You will bring an innovative yet practical approach, sound judgement, be collaborative and confident.
You will also have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Strong generalist experience (preferably in a corporate environment)
- The ability to work autonomously and also as part of a wider team
- At least 7 years' experience
