Overview

Our law clerkship is a fantastic opportunity for students who have graduated and are ready to begin their career at a leading commercial law firm.

You will work on the most complex problems and some of the most significant transactions and cases across the country, and this extends to clients based beyond our shores, with around a third of our clients located overseas. Providing this superior service takes serious commitment and involves hard work. You will continue to learn and be challenged here as part of our team that is collectively driven by the success of our clients and contributing to the prosperity of Aotearoa.

You will work collaboratively with our other experts across our offices and teams, and be empowered to take responsibility for your own performance and your career. Every day you will be learning and growing, and supported to be at the top of your game.

You can apply to work in specific teams in either our Auckland or Wellington offices. We provide a fantastic induction and training programme, mentoring, learning and development opportunities, a work buddy, and the chance to get involved in firm initiatives. You can get involved in our community work, internally or externally, or join a firmwide committee, eg. Sustainability Committee or one of the streams of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and you could volunteer at a community law centre and much more.
